Terms of Service
Last updated: July 10, 2026
These are the terms for using June (the website at hellojune.io and the app at app.hellojune.io). They are deliberately written to be readable. If you sign up for June, you are agreeing to what is on this page.
The service
June is software for running a grooming business: online booking, scheduling, reminders, checkout, records, and reports. You get every feature on one plan. Features marked as coming soon on the roadmap are not promises with dates attached; they ship when they are good.
Billing, in plain terms
- The plan is $79 per month. Founding shops (the first 100) pay $49 per month for as long as they stay subscribed, even if the regular price rises.
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial. A card is required to start, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. One trial per business.
- Each month includes 1,200 text messages and 5,000 emails. Usage beyond that is billed at $0.009 per text and $0.002 per email.
- Billing is month to month. There is no contract and no cancellation fee. You can cancel in the app at any time, and your subscription runs until the end of the period you paid for.
- If a payment fails, you will be notified and given time to fix it before anything drastic happens. Unpaid accounts eventually become read-only and are closed after continued non-payment.
Your data
The business data you put into June (clients, pets, appointments, records) is yours. You can ask for a full export at any time, including on your way out. See the Privacy Policy for the details of how data is handled.
Fair use
Use June to run your business, not to spam. Messages sent through June must be about your clients' actual appointments and paperwork, and recipients' opt-outs are always honored. Accounts used for bulk unsolicited messaging or anything unlawful can be suspended.
The honest disclaimer
June is built carefully and backed by a founder who fixes things fast, but no software is perfect. June is provided as-is, and its liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the months the problem occurred. Keep your own copies of anything truly irreplaceable.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, subscribers get an email before the change takes effect, in plain English, with the actual change described.
Questions
Reply to any email June has sent you, or book a call from the website. You will get the founder, not a legal department.
